Ohio Sports Complex is a great place to host your child's birthday party or your next event!
Capacity: We'd suggest 30 people or less to be a comfortable amount of party attendees.
How it works: The Ohio Sports Complex is really a self-service rental - much like an AirBnb, meaning once you reserve your time spot we give you the access code for entry and you just come at your reserved time and open the door and set up as needed. There may be other teams practicing before or after your time slot but they will be leaving or arriving based on their rental time slot.
Lobby for Entertaining: There is a large lobby/seating area where you can serve food, cake, drinks etc. There are folding tables and chairs you can set up as needed. You are welcome to decorate the lobby area with balloons, table cloths, etc. There is a present table as well. Everything is modular and can be moved around. Attached are some pictures from a few recent parties so you can see what the lobby looks like. There is also a mini fridge if you need to keep anything cold.
Equipment: Usually people bring their own. As an example if you wanted to setup some cornhole boards or have a flag football game you'd need to provide the flags and the football, or for a whiffle ball game you'd need to provide the bats and balls (there are bases in the facility since it is primarily a baseball/softball training hub). We do not have staff on-site at the complex during rentals, but we're always available day-of if you need anything.
Size of the Facility: The turf area at OSC is not huge - it is approximately 50ft wide by 70 feet long - but is the perfect size for youth games. Think of it like an indoor climate-controlled back yard. You'll just have to watch the lights as the ceilings are 16ft tall. Cost: $200 for 3hr party rental. If there are not any rentals before or after you can come in 30 min before to setup and clean-up, or you can limit party time to 2 hrs and setup and tear down at beginning and end.
